Turtle Bites the Path

by Chicago Sunspots

/
  • The Stag is a perfect addition to everyone’s bag. It has a good stability level and a smaller rim design to accommodate everyone. It is controllable, predictable, and will have a good release in the hand of any player. This is a great disc choice if you only want to carry only one fairway driver. For professional players the Stag will be straight tunnel disc that finishes with Hyzer. For lower arm speeds the Stag will finish left with a little less flare than drivers with the same flight integrity level.

about

Turtle Bites, a new electronica full-length from the minds of the Chicago Sunspots, presents itself as a layered treasure cove of synthetic ambience. Each composition is evocative of its own world and narrative, each painted with palettes of consistent timbral consonance. Every new sound’s entrance into the palette is meticulously concerted; their respective roles ensure lasting power in the listener’s ear after their departure of the scene they helped evoke. Sonic references to 90’s downtempo efforts juxtaposed with a sense of adventure reminiscent of old video game soundtracks come to life together through the breath of groove: The rhythmically percussive efforts made by the Chicago Sunspots provide a steady environment for arpeggiated bumps, meandering leads, and droning pads to thrive and evolve into scenes of synthetic bliss. Turtle Bites the Path achieves permanence through ill-pronounced world building– one listen through is enough for faint memories of its aural ecosystem to seep into the subconscious.
